Abstract:Objective To study the clinical effect of cervical nerve block combined with stellate ganglion block and ozone injection in the treatment of patients with cervicogenic headache. Methods 240 cases of cervical headache patients were randomly and evenly divided into group A, group B and group C. Group A received cervical bypass nerve block, group B recived ozone injection plus cervical bypass nerve block, while group C was treated with stellate ganglion block plus cervical bypass nerve block. The visual analogue scale (VAS) and clinical curative effect of the three groups of patients were compared. Results After treatment for 1 week, 3 months and 6 months, the VAS scores were (1.51±1.2), (3.42±1.4) and (4.32±2.3) respectively in group A,(1.31±0.5), (1.81±1.3) and (2.32±1.5) respectively in group B, and (1.32±0.4),(1.82±1.2) and (2.31±1.5) respectively in group C. The VAS scores in group A were better than those in group B and C at each time point(P<0.05). After treating for 1 week, 3 months and 6 months, the excellent rates were 100.0%, 71.25% and 62.50% respectively in group A, 100.0%,87.50% and 80.00% in group B and 100.0%, 88.75% and 81.25% in group C. The excellent rates of group A after treating for 3 months and 6 months were significantly lower than those in group B and C (P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of cervical nerve block combined with stellate ganglion block or ozone injection is better than that of cervical nerve block in treating cervicogenic headache, which is worthy of clinical use.
