Some Thoughts on Military Immune Planning in China

Objective In the process of prevention and control of infectious diseases in the army, immune planning plays a pivotal role in preventing acute outbreaks. This article reviews the status quo of immune planning in the army of China and discloses some problems in this area. To solve these problems, it is imperative to initiate research related to significant developments of immune planning within the military forces of United States of America. Also, some suggestions are raised so that immune planning in Chinese army might be optimized in line with our demands.

Analysis of Building a New Type of Safety and Security System for Drinking Water from the Active Defense of Military Strategy

With the implementation of the active defense of military strategy in the new period , the battlefield environment of future war will become more complex and diverse, the drinking water sources and water quality will be more complex. The existing technology and equipment of the safety inspection, purification technology and equipment of our army is not high. The new technology of producing drinking water is not deep enough. On the important strategic national security concerns the present situation of water resources need to be further research. In order to ensure the safety of drinking water for combat personnel in a variety of special and harsh conditions, we should establish a national security strategy for water resources protection system and speed up the research on water safety and health equipment information and all-weather adaptability, carry out special research on the new technology of drinking water environment protection.

Investigation on Cases of Hepatitis B in an Army and Analysis of Risk Factors for Infection

Objective To find out about the incidence of hepatitis B and its risk factors in a military unit.Methods New reported cases of hepatitis B onset were surveyed face to face in a military unit between January 2013 and June 2014, and possible risk factors were statistically analyzed.Results Among the 48 cases investigated, the misdiagnosis rate was 6.25% (3/48), and rate of repeated case reports was 4.17% (2/48). 43 cases of new-onset of hepatitis B and 43 cases of control were collected. Cases of hepatitis B were sporadic in each unit so that there was little chance of mass epidemic or outbreak. The age of patients ranged from 20 to 30, with an average age of 34.77. The main symptoms included fatigue, dark urine, anorexia, and jaundice. 55.81% of these cases were diagnosed (24/43) in one week and 16.28% (7/43) in six months or more. Chi-square test showed that hepatitis B vaccination (χ2=13.77,P<0.001) and eating out often (χ2=19.52,P<0.001) had a statistically significant correlation with the incidence of hepatitis B. According to multivariate logistic regression analysis, those who ate out frequently were at 16.310 times the risk of hepatitis B of those who did not (95% CI: 3.916~67.928) ; the unvaccinated were 3.891 times as vulnerable to hepatitis B as the vaccined (95% CI:1.021~14.925).Conclusion The diagnosis and treatment of hepatitis B should be improved while vaccination and education on prevention of hepatitis B should be popularized.

Borrelia Burgdorferii Infection and Genotypes in Ticks and Rodents Collected in Qinghai Province

Objective To investigate Borrelia burgdorferii infection in ticks and rodents captured in Qinghai Province and to identify their genotypes.Methods Ticks were collected by dragging a cloth over the vegetation while rodents were collected by snaps. After species identification, DNA was isolated from ticks and detected by nested PCR targeting 5S-23S rRNA intergenic spacer of Borrelia burgdorferii. Positive samples were further analysed by rest riction f ragment length polymorphism (RFLP) .Results A total of 618 adult ticks of 4 species, and 121 rodents of 2 species were tested for evidence of Borrelia burgdorferii by nested PCR.97 tick samples and 12 rodent samples showed positive results. The positive rate was different between different tick and rodent species, with Haemaphysalis qinghaiensis and Rattus tanezumi having the highest positive rates. The positive rate was 21.66% for Haemaphysalis qinghaiensis and 17.39% for Rattus tanezumi. RFLP analysis indicated that Borrelia burgdorferii in samples belonged to either B. garinii or B. afzelii.Conclusion Borrelia burgdorferii exists in Qinghai Province and is of at least two genotypes.

Pathogen Surveillance Results of Respiratory Tract Infections in a Military Command in Spring and Winter

Objective To investigate the pathogenic trends of respiratory infectious diseases in a military command in order to provide reference and guidance for epidemic prevention and control.Methods Surveillance data from 2014.10 to 2015.04 were collected from the surveillance platform for pathogens of respiratory infectious diseases , and were descriptively analyzed by Excel2007.Results 281 cases of positive samples were found in 1518 cases of samples. The positive rate was18.51%. The amount of sample collection and positive rate across the military command kept rising from October to December, but decreased from January to March. The majority of positive samples were influenza A (88.61%), adenovirus (8.19%) and influenza B virus (3.20%).Conclusion The incidence of respiratory infectious diseases in winter and spring is high in the military command.Influenza A, adenovirus and influenza B are the main types, so specific measures should be taken.

Seroepidemiological Investigation on Human Infections with Tick-borne Encephalitis in Xinjiang

Objective To investigate tick-borne encephalitis infections in Xinjiang so as toprovide reference for disease prevention and control.Methods IgG antibody from the serum of human subjects sampled in 5 high-risk areas was detected through indirect immuno-fluorescence.Results A total of 70 samples were found to be positive in 431 serum samples with a positive rate of 16.24%. The positive rate was 29.17% (21/72) for the south slope of Alatau Mountains, 28.77% (21/73) for the western range of the north slope of Tianshan Mountains, 14,68%(22/148) for the middle range of the north slope of Tianshan Mountains, and 5.26% (6/114) for the northern range of the south slope of Altai. Samples from the middle range of the south slope of Altai were all negative.Conclusion Frontier soldiers, farmers and herdsmen living in forests are at high risk of infection. The risk of infection with tick-borne encephalitis is the highest among males aged 20 to 39.

Analysis of Complete Blood Count of Soldiers after Rush into Plateau

Objective To explore the change of complete blood count (CBC)among soldiers after rush into the plateau in order to provide basic data for establishment of the reference range of CBC .Methods The vein blood samples of 256 healthy male soldiers were collected before they entered the plateau, and at 7 and 30 d after their rush into the plateau, respectively.Results As altitude increased and their stay was prolonged on the plateau, the values of RBC、HGB、HCT and PLT were significantly increased. However, the values of WBC did not change significantly.Conclusion The establishment of a reference range of CBC in the population that rushes into the plateau is of great importance for the diagnosis of mountain sickness and for medical services.

Application of ATP Bio-Luminescence Method to Evaluation of Hygiene of Kitchen Utensils in Army Canteens

Objective To evaluate the hygiene of kitchen utensils using the ATP bio-luminescence method, coliform paper method and total colony count method.Methods 350 kitchen utensils were chosen by cluster random sampling method, tested and evaluated with ATP bio-luminescence method and coliform paper method respectivity.Results A total of 350 pieces of tableware were detected by both methods. The relative light unit of sub plates , bowls ,chopsticks, deli knives, plates for cooked food and food boxes was 0~507,0~2942,4~4418,0~9999,4~9999 and0~1254 respectively. The qualified rate was 75.68%,85.14%,46.88%,47.73%,34.04% and 55.32% respectively according to the ATP method,but was 81.08%,82.43%,64.06%,52.27%,46.81% and 55.32% respectively according to the Coliform paper method.In evaluating the qualified rate of 6 types of tableware,the Kappa values between the ATP bioluminescence method and coliform paper method were 0.656,0.702,0.539,0.546,0.566 and0.602 respectively.Conclusion A reference value between these two methods should be stipulated as soon as possible

Radiation protection inside radiodiagonsis facilities at 19 hospitals in Beijing Military Command over 10 years

Objective To find out about radiation protection inside radiodiagonsis facilities at 19 hospitals in one area over the past 10 years in order to provide guidance for radiation protection and to control radiation hazards efficiently.Methods According to the national related technical criterions and protection standards, the radiodiagnosis facilities at 19 hospitals in one area were selected as targets of research., Key indexes about radiation protection were statistically analyzed.Results The number of radiodiagnosis facilities was 104 in 2005 and 107 in 2015. Although the number has hardly changed, the radiodiagnosis equipment has been updated over the past ten years. The unqualified percentage of radiation protection indexes has dropped obviously. The unqualified rate associated with radiation leakage from the control station, doors for doctors and doors for patients dropped from 12.5%,18.3% and 21.2% in 2005 to 0%,0.935% and 0.935% in 2015. The 12 work places The ambient dose equivalent rate was above 2.5μSv/h inside twelve facilities in 2005, but wasless than 2.5μSv/h in 2015. The key protection indexes dropped from 57.5%,44.2% and 76.9% to 20.6%,1.87% and 1.87% in 2015.Conclusion The effect of radiation protection has been getting better in 19 hospitals over the past ten years, but the awareness and scope of radiation protection need to be improved.

Analysis of Physical Examination Results of Military Cadets between 2010 and 2014

Objective To analyze the physical examination results of military cadets in a military university from 2010 to 2014 and provide data and evidence for related health departments.Methods Physical examinations were carried out for a total of 3388 new cadets from 2010 to 2014 according to the Physical Examination Standard for Military College Cadets (Log.Doc.(2006)6). EpiData 3.1 was employed to input the general information and examination results, while SPSS 20.0 was used for data analysis.Results Between 2010 and 2014, the general detection rate of abnormal indexes was 21.0% (713/3388) but kept increasing each year. Among the 18 abnormal detections, the top 5 were dental caries (7.70%), abnormal ALT (3.78%), shortage of height (1.86%), poor eyesight (1.36%), and low HB (1.15%).Conclusion Physical examinations before and after admission are an important meanss for screening military cadets with physical and mental problems. It's quite necessary to adopt comprehensive health promotion measures to maintain their health with reference to abnormal indexes.

A Survey on Self- Esteem, Personality and General Well-Being among Recruits

Objective To quantitatively assess self-esteem and personality, general well-being among recruits.Methods Self-Esteem Scale(SES), Eysenck Personality Questionnaire(EPQ) and General Well-Being Schedule(GWBS) were used to test the mental state of 240 recruits.Results (1) High self-esteem group of recruits had lower scores of EPQ-P and EPQ-N(t=-2.628,-3.270,P<0.01), but higher scores of GWBS (t=3.790,P<0.01). (2)The scores of SES and GWBS showed a positive correlation, whereas EPQ-P, EPQ-N and EPQ-L showed a negative correlation (P<0.01). (3) EPQ-N had the biggest effect on the total score of SES, followed byGWBS andEPQ-P.Conclusion There is statistically significant difference in EPQ and GWBS between recruits with different levels of self-esteem. Self-esteem, EPQ and GWBS are closely related. EPQ and GWBS can predict SES directly among the 240 recruits.

Mental Health and Impact factors of Soldiers Under Military Stress

Objective To find out about the mental health of officers and soldiers who perform special missions under military stress in order to provide some reference for the promotion ofmilitary mental health.Methods Officers and soldiers who were engaged in military exercises in a military base were selected as samples for study. A self-made mental health scale under military stress was used on the spot among 465 officers and soldiers.Results (1)Under military stress, the various factors of the mental health scale were correlated.(2)As far as most of the factors of the mental health scale were concerned, the types of the army, rank, levels of education, age, gender, and marital status all made much difference to the score. Mental health status varied, which was relatively poor among artillery soldiers, officers, well-educated soldiers, soldiers under 18, the married, and male soldiers.Conclusion There is significant difference in mental health status between soldiers of different armies, ranks, levels of education, age or gender. Well-targeted psychological education and intervention are absolutely necessary.

Life Satisfaction Level and Influencing Factors of Stability-keeping Militia In Xinjiang

Objective To explore the life satisfaction level (LSS) and its influencing factors among the stability-keeping militia in Xinjiangin order to provide guidance for psychological intervention.Methods By random cluster sampling, 832 stability-keeping militia men in Xinjiang were selected and investigated by Satisfaction with Life Index(SWL), perceived stress scale(PSS), and perceived social support scale(PSSS) for statistical analysis.Results ①The LSS of young militia men was higher than that of the Party (League) members of the militia (P<0.01). The militia men who had not experienced any disaster had a higher life satisfaction score than those who had (P<0.05). The LSSof militia men in safe areas was higher than that in areas on high alert (P<0.01).The LSS of militia men who had different interests was higher than that of those without hobbies(P<0.05).The LSS of militia men with a college diploma was higher than that of those without it (P<0.01). The LSS of militia men who had served more than 13 years was higher than that of those younger ones (P<0.01). Different attitudes of militia men to their work had significant influence on their life satisfaction level.(P<0.01). ②The factors that affected life satisfaction levels included the support outside the family, overload, length of service, hobbies, and places of inhabitation, all of which accounted for18.2% of the total variance. ③The partial intermediary value of perceived social support between the sense of overload and life satisfaction level was 0.0598, accounting for 23.9% of the total effect value(0.0598+0.19 = 0.0598).Conclusion The LSS is significantly different between stability-keeping militia men in Xinjiang. Political affiliation, hobbies, levels of education and length of service all play an important role. Perceived social support plays a partial intermediary role between the sense of overload and life satisfaction levels.

Incidence and Causes of Depression among Military Informationalization Personnel

Objective To find out about the incidence and causes of depression the military informationalization personnel so as to provide reference for the enrollment of new students.Methods 640 soldiers engaged in informationalization were tested by self-rating depression scale (SDS), Eysenck Personality Questionnaire Short Scale (EPQ-RSC) and Military Occupational Burnout scale.Results ①The SDS scores of the soldiers were significantly higher than normal scores (P<0.01). The incidence of depression among these soldiers was 45.09%(276/612),31.9% of them had slight depression symptoms, 24.28% had mild symptoms and 4.71% of had serious symptoms. ②There was statistically significant difference in SDS associated with the length of military service, levels of education and single-child family. ③The causes of depressive symptoms included somzatization, nervority, poor relationships, lack of achievement and few happy life events.Conclusion The incidence of depression among the military informationalization personnel is significantly high. Somzatization, nervority, poor relationships, lack o achievement and few happy life events pose a hazard to their mental heath.

A Follow-up Survey on Mental Health of People with HIV/AIDS in the Early Stage of Antiviral Therapy

Objective To analyze the characteristics of psychological variation among people with HIV/AIDS(PWHA) in the early stage of highly active antiretroviral therapy(HAART) .Methods Fifty-seven PWHAs who had received HAART were investigated using SCL-90 before and 1, 3, 6, 9, 12m after HAART.Results Before HAART, the total score of SCL-90 was 126.42±40.43. Among different factors, the scores of depression and obsession (1.56±0.67、1.46±0.53) were the highest, while the score of terror and bigotry (1.22±0.46、1.26±0.36) were the lowest. Compared with norms, the score of obsession, interpersonal sensitivity, antagonism and bigotry factors were lower (P<0.05) ,but there was no significant difference in the total score and other factors(P>0.05) . Along with HAART, the total score of and the score of each factor showed a tendency to decrease.Conclusion Mental health status of PWHAs has improved, especially during the first year of HAART.

Investigation of Psychological Status of Military Pilots

Objective To investigate the psychological status of pilots in a military unit so as to provide evidence for appropriate interventions.Methods 444 pilots were investigated with Symptom Checklist- 90.Results Except for phobia,SCL-90 scores were significantly different between the groups(P<0.05,P<0.01). SCL-90 scores of pilots of fighter planes in airforce were higher than those of pilots of fighter planes and helicopters in navy(P<0.01). The total score of SCL-90 of aerotransport pilots in airforce was higher than that of pilots of fighter planes and helicopters in navy and helicopter pilots in the field army(P<0.01). The SCL-90 total score of helicopter pilots in the field army was higher than that of their counterparts in navy(P<0.05).Conclusion The psychological status of pilots is generally healthy.There is significant difference between pilots of different armies and types of planes.

Influence of Lampholders on Irradiation Intensityof Ultraviolet Disinfection Lamps

Objective To investigate the reasons for low radiation intensity of standard UV disinfection lamps in military catering units so as to take effective measures accordingly.Methods After causes associated with voltage, temperature, humidity, quality of ultraviolet lamps were excluded, the ultraviolet radiation intensity of thirty newly-purchased 500 h, 40 W UV lamps, which were used in catering units and medical institutions, was tested using different brands of inductors or electronic lamp holders respectively.Results The ultraviolet radiation intensity of lamps in inductance group was significantly higher than that of the electronic group. The maximum difference of the same lamp on different light holders was 44 μw/cm2. The maximum difference in ultraviolet light irradiation intensity between different brands of lamp holders was 30 μw/cm2in inductance group and was 34 μw/cm2 in the electronic group. The inductance lamp holder of Brand A had the highest degree of irradiation while that of Brand X had the lowest.Conclusion Except for the lamp quality, cleanliness and environmental factors, the lamp holder is an important determinant of irradiation intensity of ultraviolet disinfection lamps. This result provides a technical support for daily sanitary supervision.

Relationships between Non-small Cell Lung Cancer and Psychosocial Risk Factors

Objective To study the correlations between non-small cell lung cancer and life events, psychosocial stress factors such as emotional state in order to contribute to the prevention and treatment of non-small cell lung cancer.Methods On the basis of case - control study, forty-five pathologically diagnosed cases of non-small cell lung cancer were selected as the observation group while another forty-five cases of non-small cell lung cancer with benign conditions as were in the control group.Psychosocial stress questionnaires were used to collect information on their life events and emotional response.The levels of anxiety in each group were evaluated by the self-assessment lists of anxiety (SAS).Results Multiariable logistic regression analysis showed that economic plight(OR=3.143), worry about children's future(OR=7.721), depression(OR=6.122), and despair(OR=18.215) were risk factors for non-small cell lung cancer while a pleasant emotional state (OR=0.043) was a protective factor.Compared with the control group, the level of anxiety was quite high among patients of the observation group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Some negative life events and negative emotions are associated with the onset of non-small cell lung cancer.A good mood can reduce the risk of non-small cell lung cancer to some certain extent.

Objective To study the sensitvity of seven types of organophosphorus pesticides to acetylcholinesterase(AChE) from different sources.Methods We detected the acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity of electric organs of numbfish and Musca domestica to seven types of organophosphorus pesticides (fethion, glyphosate, parathion, chlorpyrifos, moncrotophos, malathion, phorate) .Results The result showed that the AChE activity of Musca domestica to fethion, glyphosate, parathion, chlorpyrifos and moncrotophos was higher than that of numbfish.The highest inhibition rates were 85.14%、75.28%、40.94%、and 85.43% respectively at 1000μg/L concentration.However, the AChE activity of numbfish to malathion and phorate was higher than that of Musca domestica, and the highest inhibition rates were 45.29%、80.58% respectively at the concentration of 1000μg/L.Conclusion The AChE of Musca domestica is much more sensitive to fethion, glyphosate, parathion, chlorpyrifos and moncrotophos while the AChE of electric organs of numbfish is much more sensitive to malathion and phorate.

Protection Efficacy of Hemoperfusion for Elderly Patients with Acute Severe Organophosphorus Poisoning

Objective To investigate the protective effect of hemoperfusion in senile patients with severe acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning.Methods 120 elderly patients diagnosed with severe organophosphate poisoning according were evenly and randomlydivided into blood perfusion group (perfusion group) and conventional drug treatment group (control group). The changes of Crs-C,AST,ALT,CK-MB,cTnI,BNP,NSE,PT,APTT and Scr were compared between the two groups. Results Two hours after admission,there was no significant difference (P>0.05)in levels of Crs-C,AST,ALT,CK - MB,cTnI,BNP,NSE,PT and APT between the two groups of patients. After three days of treatment,the levels ofScr,Crs-C,AST,ALT,CK-MB,cTnI,BNP,NSE,PT,and APTT in hemoperfusion group were lower than in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Hemoperfusion can reduce the damange of organophosphate poisoning to the heart, liver, kidney and brain of patients,alleviate abnormalities of the blood coagulation system and protect organs from secondary damage.

Value of Early Warning of Carotid Atherosclerosis and Vascular Endothelial Function in Clinical Diagnosis of Coronary Artery Diseases

Objective To further study the correlations between coronary heart disease (CHD), carotid atherosclerosis and vascular endothelial diastolic functions.Methods 101 subjects undergoing health checkups were randomly selected, who were examined by bilateral carotid high-frequence color Doppler ultrasonography, endothelial dependent vasodilation tests, and 32-slice CT coronary angiography. Such biochemical indicators as three acid triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein (LDL-C), and fasting blood glucose levels (FBG) were measured in all the subjects, who were divided into CHD group and non-CHD group before the results of examinations were compared and analyzed.Results The carotid artery intima media thickness(IMT)) in CHD group was significantly higher than in non-CHD group (P<0.05) while EDDwas significantly lower in CHD group than in non-CHD group(P<0.05).Conclusion Carotid atherosclerosis and endothelial functions can predict the occurrence of coronary heart disease.

Effect of Chlorogenic Acid on Lung Cancer A549 Cell Apoptosis and Mechanism

Objective To study the effect of chlorogenic acid on apoptosis of lung cancer A549 cells and its mechanism.Methods MTT assay was used to detect the cell proliferation induced by chlorogenic acid. Using the indirect fluorescent marker method, the reactive oxygen species (ROS) in cells was monitored by flow cytometry. The inhibitory effect of?chlorogenic acid on EGFR-TPK, APN, and MMP-2 was detected using spectrophotometric method.Results Chlorogenic acid inhibited the cell proliferation in a time- and concentration-dependent manner. After treatment with chlorogenic acid, the cell apoptosis rate and ROS activation rate were significantly increased (P<0.01). The half inhibition rate IC50 of chlorogenic acid on APN, EGFR-TPK and MMP-2 was (8.12 ± 0.78)、(29.43 ± 2.76) and (1.54 ± 0.13) μg/ml respectively.Conclusion Chlorogenic acid can inhibit A549 cell proliferation and induce apoptosis, which may be associated with the generation of ROS and decreased activity of APN, EGFR-TPK and MMP-2.

Objective To analyze the existing problems with the collection of clinical microbiological specimens, and to find effective ways to improve the quality of specimen collection.Methods The quality ofmicrobiological specimenswas evaluated, the reasons for unqualified specimens were analyzed and corresponding countermeasures were proposed.Results There were many problems in the process of specimen collection, such as specimen contamination, inadequate amounts of collection, delayed inspection, and improper temporary storage. After intervention, the failure rates of microbial specimens decreased obviously from 12.8% (between Jan 2013 and Dec 2013) to 4.7 %( between Jan 2014 and Dec 2014).Conclusion We need to improve the quality of specimens by perfecting specimen collection manuals, enhancing training on specimen collection, implementing the process control of specimen collection, and strengthening the ties between departments.

Characteristics of Pathogenic Bacteria Distribution and Drug Resistance of Patients with Mycotic Endophthalmitis

Objective To analyze characteristics of pathogenic bacteria distribution and drug resistance of mycotic endophthalmitis patients.Methods Ninety-eight cases of mycotic endophthalmitis treated in our hospital between January 2012 and December 2014 were selected as subjects, whose general information, bacterial culture and drug resistance were retrospectively analyzed.Results Blastocystis, eurotium, fusarium and candida accounted for 38.78%, 25.51%, 19.39% and 9.18% of the pathogenic bacteria respectively. In terms of distribution of bacteria, candida albicans (19.39%), aspergillus fumigatus (11.22%) and fusarium solani (10.20%) were the most common. Drug sensitivity results showed that candida albicans had a high resistance rate to fluconazol (72.00%), itraconazole (52.00%) and 5-flucytosine (48.00%), aspergillus fumigatus had a higher resistance rate to miconazole (90.91%%) and 5-flucytosine (72.73%), fusarium solani had a higher resistance rate to itraconazole (70.00%), and that miconazole (50.00%), aspergillus flavus had a higher resistance rate to miconazole(55.56%) and 5-flucytosine(33.33%) respectively. Main pathogenic bacteria had a low resistance rate to natamycin, dualism toxin B, terbinafine, ketoconazole and voriconazole.Conclusion The pathogenic bacteria spectrum of mycotic endophthalmitis is wide, including blastocystis, eurotium, fusarium and candida. Main pathogenic bacteria have a high resistance rate to itraconazole, miconazole and 5-flucytosine.

Investigation and Analysis of The Distribution Pathogenic Bacteria and Drug Resistance in Patients With Oral Infection

Objective To analyze the distribution of pathogenic bacteria and drug resistance in patients with oral infection, and to provide reference for clinical drug use.Methods 86 cases of patients with oral infection were selected as study objects. The oral secreta were collected for pathogenic bacteria culture and drug sensitivity test was performed.Results Among the 86 patients, the proportions of patients who were ≤ 15 years old or ≥ 56 years old were relatively higher, which were 40.7% and 30.2% respectively. A total of 351 strains of pathogenic bacteria were detected, of which there were 236 strains of anaerobic bacteria, accounting for 67.2%. The proportion of black pigmented Prevotella was the highest (50.4%), followed by oral streptococci (16.5%), and there were 115 strains of aerobic bacteria, accounting for 32.8%. The drug resistance to oxacillin, ceftizoxime, gentamicin and ciprofloxacin was relatively higher, which were 49.2%, 46.6%, 42.0% and 40.2% respectively. The sensitivities to vancomycin, tetracycline and ceftriaxone were relatively higher, which were 98.3%, 95.8% and 93.6% respectively.Conclusion Anaerobic bacteria are the more common bacteria of oral infections. High-sensitivity drugs such as vancomycin, tetracycline and ceftriaxone can be used for treatment.

Correlation Analysis of Igf-2 And Igfbp-2 with Invasive Ability in Patients with Liver Cancer

Objective To investigate the correlation of IGF-2 and IGFBP-2 with invasive ability in patients with liver cancer.Methods 124 cases of liver cancer patients were divided into stage I、II、III、IV.There were 29、31、36、28 patients in each stage separately. Levels of IGF-2, IGFBP -2, MMP-2 and TIMP-2 in the serum of patientswere detected.Results Levels of IGF-2 and IGFBP-2 in stage II patients were significantly higher (P<0.05)than in stage I. Levels of IGF-2 and IGFBP-2 were significantly higher in stage III than in stage I and II(P<0.05). Levels of IGF-2 and w IGFBP-2 were significantly different(P<0.05)from those in stageⅠ, Ⅱ, and Ⅲ. Levels of MMP-2 / TIMP-2 were significantly higher (P<0.05)in stage II than in stage I,while levels of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 in stage Ⅲ were significantly different(P<0.05)from those in stage I. Levels of MMP-2, TIMP-2 and MMP-2 / TIMP-2 were significantly different from those in stageⅠ , Ⅱ, and Ⅲ (P<0.05). IGF-2, TIMP-2, and MMP-2 / TIMP-2 were significantly correlated (P<0.05), so were IGFBP-2, TIMP-2, and MMP-2 / TIMP-2 (P<0.05).Conclusion With the progress of liver cancer, IGF-2 and IGFBP-2 levels are closely related to ECM remodelling ability , which is an important factor to reflect the invasive ability of cancer cells.

Correlations Between Pulmonary Artery Pressure and Bnp Levels in Plasma of Hyperthyroid Patients

Objective To explore the correlations between pulmonary artery pressure changes and plasma BNP levels by detecting related indexes of patients with hyperthyroidism in different stages.Methods Ninety cases were divided into three groups in accordance with their thyroid function. The levels of free triiodothyronine (FT3), free thyroxine (FT4) and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) in serum were detected using microparticle enzyme immunoassay method and their pulmonary artery pressure and plasma BNP levels were measured.Results The mean pulmonary artery pressure and incidence of pulmonary hypertension were higher in clinical hyperthyroidism and subclinical hyperthyroidism groups than that in control group. The mean pulmonary artery pressure in clinical hyperthyroidism group was higher than that of the subclinical hyperthyroidism group (P<0.05), so was the incidence of pulmonary hypertension, but the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Plasma BNP values in clinical hyperthyroidism and subclinical hyperthyroidism groups were much higher than those in healthy control group (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference between the clinical hyperthyroidism and subclinical hyperthyroidism groups (P>0.05 ). Pulmonary artery pressure was negatively correlated with TSH levels, but was positively correlated with levels of FT3, FT4 and plasma BNP (P<0.05).Conclusion The level of pulmonary artery pressure increases with the severity of hyperthyroidism and is positively correlated with plasma BNP values so that it can be used to assess the risk of pulmonary hypertension in patients with hyperthyroidism.

Helicobacter Pylori Infection and Drug Resistance in Patients with Gastrointestinal Diseases

Objective To investigate the Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection and drug resistance in patients with gastrointestinal diseases.Methods 364 cases of patients with gastrointestinal diseases who were treated in our hospital between October 2013 and October 2015 were selected as subjects. The mucosa tissues of the gastric antrum were collected from each of these patients to perform Hp detection beforethe influencing factors were analyzed. The drug sensitivity test for isolated strains was carried out by the critical point agar dilution method. Results Among the 364 patients with gastrointestinal diseases, the rate of Hp infection was 44.78%.The Hp positive rate of gastric cancer was the highest(55.26%)among gastrointestinal diseases, followed by duodenal ulcer (50.0%),gastric ulcer (48.48%) and chronic gastritis (36.36%). Univariate analysis showed that an education level below high school, smoking or drinking, preference for hot and spicy food and overeating were risk factors for Hp infection (P<0.05)while multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the risk factors of Hp infection were the level of education, eating habits, spicy food, smoking and drinking. The OR values were 0.748, 0.838, 1.469 and 1.345 respectively. The drug sensitive test showed that the drug resistance of Hp to metronidazole was the highest (90.18%), followed by levofloxacin (68.71%) and clarithromycin (51.53%). There was no resistance to amoxicillin, gentamicin and furaxone.Conclusion The HP infection rate among patients with gastrointestinal diseases is relatively higher. Its occurrence is significantly correlated with eating habits, levels of education and other factors. HP has high drug resistance to metronidazole, levofloxacin and other antimicrobial drugs.

Objective To explore the influence of pregnancy complicated with diseases on small for gestational age(SGA)status.Methods A total of 284 hospitalized SGA infants were included in the study as case group while another 2870 appropriate for gestational age(AGA) infants who were born in the same period were selected as control group. Unconditional logistic regression models were used to estimate odds ratios and 95% confidence intervals for the association of pregnancy complicated with diseases with SGA.Results Unconditional logistic regression showed that gestational hypertension(OR=5.04, 95%CI:3.35~7.60),umbilical cord abnormalities(OR=2.97, 95%CI:1.79~5.00) and placental abnormality(OR=2.99,1.46~6.14) were associated with an increased risk of SGA. Conclusion SGA may be associated with gestational hypertension, umbilical cord abnormalities and placental abnormality.

ML-based Colorectal Cancer Serum Tumor Marker Screening and Evaluation of Early Stage Diagnostic Models

Objective To improve the early diagnostic rate of colorectal cancer in order to have colorectal cancer patients diagnosed as early as possible for the best treatment result. Methods Based on the Machine Learning theory and practices, the forward method was adopted inlogistic regression(LR)in order to analyze and screen the serum marker of the best referential value. Support Vector Machine (SVM)and Back Propagation (BP)were used to establish an early diagnostic model for colorectal cancer. Results The experiment results showed that such serum markers as CEA、CA1724、CA242、CA153 and HSP60 were of diagnostic valuefor colorectal cancer. The LR colorectal cancer diagnostic model that combined the above mentioned five types of serum markers outperformed that of each individual serum marker. Conclusion Combined tests can enhance the detection sensitivity to colorectal cancer. The LR colorectal cancer diagnostic model has a higher diagnostic value than the model based on SVM.

Objective To study the effect of emotional nursing on anxiety disorder in patients with irritable bowel syndrome(IBS).Methods 234 anxiety disorder patients with IBS were divided into study group and control group according to the sequence of admission. The study group was treated with emotional nursing in TCM while the control group with routine therapies. All the patients were assessed by Defense Style Questionnaire (DSQ), Simple Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ), Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD),Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA)and TCM symptom score.Results The HAMA score, immature factor, negative coping, TCM symptom score were significantly lower in study group than in control group (P<0.05)in the 6th week, when these scores were also significantly lower than in the first week (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group(χ2=9.4,P<0.05) .Conclusion Emotional nursing in TCM can improve the anxiety symptoms in anxiety disorder patients with irritable bowel syndrome.

Correlation between Expression of LIF / Apelin mRNA in placentatissue of hypertensive patients during pregnancy and perinatal outcome

Objective To investigate the correlations between the expression of leukaemia inhibitory factor (LIF) and Apelin mRNA in placenta tissue of patients with hypertension in pregnancy and the perinatal outcome.Methods 160 cases of patients with hypertension in pregnancy trated at our hospital from January 2012 to December 2014 were collected while another 80 cases of healthy pregnant women were collected during the same period. The expressions of LIF and Apelin mRNA were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (qPCR). Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the correlation between the levels of LIF/Apelin mRNA and hypertension in pregnancy.Results The expression of LIF and Apelin mRNA in placenta tissue of pregnant women with gestational hypertension group was lower than that of healthy pregnant women group(P<0.05). The correlation between the expression level of LIF/Apelin mRNA and the perinatal outcome was statistically significant (P<0.05). The maximum likelihood estimates and OR values were less than 0. The correlation coefficient of LIF/Apelin mRNA average expression score and mean birth weight and average neonatal score ranged from 0.721 to0.836.Conclusion The expression of LIF/ Apelin mRNA in placenta tissue of patients with hypertension in pregnancy is negatively correlated with the adverse perinatal outcome.

Acoustic Radiation Force Impulse in Diagnosis of Bi-Rads 4 Breast Lesions

Objective To observe the value of the acoustic radiation force impulse (ARFI) as a new method to differentiate malignant BI-RADS 4 breast lesions from benign ones.Methods A total of 292 patients with 311 breast lesions were enrolled into the study after selection. The breast lesions were examined by conventional ultrasound (US).The SWV value of these lesions was determined by virtual touch tissue quantification (VTQ), and these lesions were classified usingvirtual touch tissue imagine (VTI). Then, the SWV value and VTI were used to correct the classification of BI-RADS 4. With the pathological results as the final diagnosis,the receiver-operating characteristic curve (ROC) was drawn to evaluate the diagnostic value of SWV before and after BI-RADS 4 correction by comparing the AUC of the respective ROC curve. Results Before correction, the sensitivity, specificity, AUC of ROC curve to BI-RADS 4 breast lesions were 85%, 79.6% and 0.854, respectively, while the 95% confidence interval was 80.7%~90%. The score 4 of VTI and 4.97m/s of SWV were accepted as the optimal cut-off value and to diagnose benign breast lesions from malignant ones. After correction, the sensitivity, specificity, AUC of ROC curve to BI-RADS 4 breast lesions were 89.2%, 85.9% and 0.939, respectively, while the 95% confidence interval was 91.3%~96.5%. The difference in AUC of the respective ROC curve was statistically significant(z=5.57,P<0.01). Conclusion ARFI elastography can effectively improve the accuracy with which benign BI-RADS 4 breast lesions are distinguished from malignant ones.

Objective To investigate the correlations between uPA, PAI-1 expression and neoadjuvant chemotherapy in the treatment of breast cancer.Methods We collected 82 cases of breast cancer patients who received treatment in our hospital from May 2014 to March 2012. All the patients were treated with breast cancer resection and neoadjuvant chemotherapy after surgery. Levels of UPA and PAI-1 expression in breast carcinoma tissue were detected by immunohistochemistry examination. The correlations between uPA, PAI-1 expression and the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy on breast cancer were analyzed.Results The expression of uPA and PAI-1 was negatively correlated with the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy on breast cancer(-1≤r<0,P<0.05).Conclusion The positive expression of uPA and PAI-1 is correlated with the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy on breast cancer, suggesting that uPA and PAI-1 could be used as negative biomarkers of therapeutic effect.

Effect of Cervical Nerve Block Combined with Different Methods in Treating Cervicogenic Headache

Objective To study the clinical effect of cervical nerve block combined with stellate ganglion block and ozone injection in the treatment of patients with cervicogenic headache.Methods 240 cases of cervical headache patients were randomly and evenly divided into group A, group B and group C. Group A received cervical bypass nerve block, group B recived ozone injection plus cervical bypass nerve block, while group C was treated with stellate ganglion block plus cervical bypass nerve block. The visual analogue scale (VAS) and clinical curative effect of the three groups of patients were compared.Results After treatment for 1 week, 3 months and 6 months, the VAS scores were (1.51±1.2), (3.42±1.4) and (4.32±2.3) respectively in group A,(1.31±0.5), (1.81±1.3) and (2.32±1.5) respectively in group B, and (1.32±0.4),(1.82±1.2) and (2.31±1.5) respectively in group C. The VAS scores in group A were better than those in group B and C at each time point(P<0.05). After treating for 1 week, 3 months and 6 months, the excellent rates were 100.0%, 71.25% and 62.50% respectively in group A, 100.0%,87.50% and 80.00% in group B and 100.0%, 88.75% and 81.25% in group C. The excellent rates of group A after treating for 3 months and 6 months were significantly lower than those in group B and C (P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of cervical nerve block combined with stellate ganglion block or ozone injection is better than that of cervical nerve block in treating cervicogenic headache, which is worthy of clinical use.

Objective To explore the value of flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary atelectasis in children.Methods A total of 226 hospitalized children with localized atelectasis confirmed by X-ray or pulmonary CT were divided into bronchoscopy group (n=189) and control group (n=37). The results of fiberoptic bronchoscopy group were compared with control group.Results In bronchoscopy group(189 patients), flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy was performed 222 times. Bronchial mucosal inflammatory changes were found in all the 189 cases, mucous sputum formation in 73 cases, tracheal or bronchial softening in 21 cases, bronchial stenosis or abnormal opening in 11 cases, tracheobronchial foreign body in 9 cases, bronchial neoplasia in 3 cases, tracheal bronchus in 2 cases, and anterior tracheal hemangioma in 1 case . During their stay in hospital, all the cases underwent lavages in the bronchoscopy group, which showed that the lesion had completely expanded in 146 cases, partially expanded in 27 cases, and remained unchanged in 7 cases,compared with 17 cases, 14 cases and 6 cases respectively in control group. There was significant difference between the two groups. The average length of hospital stay was(12.1?.2)days in bronchoscopy group and(16.2?.4)days in control group, respectively. There was significant difference between the two groups. There was not any respiratory arrest or hemodynamic changes in bronchoscopy groups.Conclusion Fibrobronchoscopy can help identify the cause of atelectasis, promote the reexpansion of the lesion, shorten the average length of hospital stay, and ensure safety.

Clinical Comparison of CT and DSA Angiography in Diagnosis of Lower Extremity Arterial Occlusive Disease

Objective To compare the clinical value of 64 layer CT and DSA angiography in the diagnosis of lower extremity arterial occlusive disease.Methods 130 patients with lower extremity arterial occlusive disease were treated in our hospital from May 2012 to June 2014. All the patients were subjected to 64 layer CT and DSA angiography respectively to observe the diagnostic differences between the two detection methods.Results The correct rate of 64 layer CT combined was close to that of DSA angiography. The incidence of adverse reactions from 64 layer CT detection was lower than that from DAS, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) by t test or chi square test.Conclusion The clinical effect of 64 layer CT is better than that of DSA angiography in the diagnosis of lower extremity arterial occlusive disease.

Relationship of Blood MMP-2、TIMP-2 Brain Barrier and Glioma Invasion Ability

Objective To investigate the effects of tight junction of the blood-brain barrier on the glioma invasion ability.Methods 87 cases of neurosurgery glioblastoma patients including grade Ⅰ 29 cases,26 cases of patients with grade Ⅱ ,Ⅲ grade 21 cases ,Ⅳ grade 11 patients were enrolled.Serum levels in patients of S-100,GFAP,MMP-2,TIMP-2 were detected.Results S-100,GFAP in patients with grade Ⅱ compared with Ⅰ appeared significantly higher level(P<0.05),S-100,GFAP of Ⅲ grade patients compared with gradeⅠ,Ⅱ grade were significantly higher(P<0.05),S-100,GFAP of Ⅳ grade compared with gradeⅠ,Ⅱgrade ,grade Ⅲ were significantly(P<0.05).MMP-2 / TIMP-2 in Ⅱ level patients compared with class Ⅰ was significantly higher(P<0.05),MMP-2 and TIMP-2 in Ⅲ grade patients compared with grade Ⅰ were any significant different(P<0.05),MMP-2 / TIMP -2 compared with grade Ⅰ ,grade Ⅱ patients were significantly higher(P<0.05),MMP-2 and TIMP-2 and MMP-2 / TIMP-2 of Ⅳ grade compared with grade Ⅰ ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ were any significant different(P<0.05).S-100,GFAP and MMP-2,MMP-2 / TIMP-2 were significantly correlated(P<0.05),while showing no effects on TIMP-2(P>0.05).Conclusion With the progress of glioma grading ,the tight junction of BBB were destroyed and were closely related to glioma invasion ability.

Application of Evidence-based Nursing Intervention to Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Objective To analyze the applicability of evidence-based nursing intervention to patients with systemic lupus erythematosus.Methods Eighty-six cases of systemic lupus erythematosus patients admitted between December 2013 and December 2015 were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with routine nursing, while the experimental group was treated with evidence-based nursing before the length of hospital stay and the satisfaction rate were compared.Results The hospital stay of the experimental group was shorter than that of the control group, and the overall rate of satisfaction with the nursing staff (97.67%) in the experimental group was higher than that of the control group62.79%), andthe P value was less than 0.05.Conclusion Evidence-based nursing intervention in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus during hospitalization has significant effect, and is worthy of clinical promotion.

Objective To establish a method for determination of four tetracycline antibiotics in swine waste water by HPLC.Methods After filtration and acid-digestion, 20 μl samples were injected into an HPLC system. Acetonitrile and 0.5% TFA solution were applied in gradient elution using HPLC method. The total running time was 15 minutes.Results The standard curve of four compounds presented a good linearity(R2>0.999) in the range of 0.1 to 15.0 μg/ml. The detection limits were 50 ng/ml. The recovery ranged from 83.82% to 108.70% with the relative standard deviation less than 9.30%.Conclusion The proposed method presents many advantages, such as quick speed, user-friendliness and reproducibility.

The characteristics and influencing factors of mental health of soldiers and officers training on the plateau were reviewed in this paper with reference to domestic and foreign mental health services for the military. Countermeasures and considerations related to mental health services for soldiers and officers training on the plateau were offered based on our own experience.

To seek a simple, reasonable and effective treatment for the low energy ankle-joint injury and to reduce the incidence of instability and bone arthritis after lower strain recovery.Methods The causes of ankle injury during military training were analyzed and treatment plans were proposed.Results The treatment could restore maximum ankle movement function and decrease the rate of concurrence.Conclusion Punctual and active treatment should adopted for low energy ankle-joint injury in military traininge.
