Abstract Objective To explore the effects of programed health instruction on schizophrenes rehabilitation in department of psychiatry.Methods A total of 120 schizophrenes were randomly divided into study group(62) and control group (58). The schizophrenes in the study group were received the programed health instruction and that in the control group were adopted usual nursing care. All the patients were assessed by Nurses' Observation Scale for Inpatient Evaluation(NOSIE), Insight and Treatment Attitude Questionnaire(ITAQ)and Scale of Social function in Psychosis Inpatients(SSPI).Results The results of NOSIE indicated that the scores of many factors were significant difference between two groups after treatment(P<0.05). There were significant difference at self-control and altitude to treatment of ITAQ between two groups (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Except for self-care and sociality recession, the other scores of SSPI had statistically significance between two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion The programed health instruction in department of psychiatry can release some symptoms effectively and make the patients realize their morbid state more clearly to improve the patients' impaired social function efficiently.
