Abstract Duration of impulse noise is an important parameter of evaluation of military noise operational environment. Based on the C language platform and B & K PULSE noise and vibration analysis system, we designed impulse noise waveform data analysis program. According to the measurement algorithm, we realized fast digital computing measurement and analysis for A duration and B duration of impulse noise. And the application of this procedure for acquisition duration of the signal of high intensity pulse noise showed a reliable performance.
