Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of specific chemotherapy on P63 and P-glycoprotein expression in malignant trophoblastic tumor and its efficacy. Methods A total of 88 patients with malignant trophoblastic tumor were randomly and equally divided into observation group and control group and another 44 cases were selected for physical examination as healthy group. The observation group received specific chemotherapy, while control group received mono-chemotherapy. The expression of P63 and P-glycoprotein before and after treatment in two groups was detected by immunohistochemistry, and the efficacy was compared. Results The positive rates of P63 and P-glycoprotein expression in observation group and control group before treatment were higher than those in healthy group(P<0.05), the positive rate of P63 expression in observation group after treatment was lower than that in control group(P<0.05), but there was no significant difference in the positive rate of P-glycoprotein expression between observation group and control group(P>0.05). The total efficacy of observation group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Specific chemotherapy could reduce P63 expression in patients with malignant trophoblastic tumor, but has no significant effect on P-glycoprotein expression and its efficacy is significant.
