Abstract Objective To establish a method for determination of Arsenic (As) in foods. Methods The foods were dissolved by microwave and Arsenic in them was determined by double-channel hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry. Results The arsenic content was linear with the fluorescence intensity in the range of 0μg/L~10μg/L with correlation coefficient of 0.9994.The detection limit of this method was 0.006mg/kg.Recovery experiment was carried out and recovery was 96.1%~104.9%.Conclusion This method is accurate, rapid and convenient.
