Abstract Objective To study the relationships between health promoting lifestyles and the health level of saturation divers in order to provide reference for sustainable health of saturation divers. Methods Based on investigations about health promoting lifestyles of 37 divers participating in the Navy's 300 m saturation diving, the relationships between health promoting lifestyles and the health level were analyzed. Results A total of 24 people(accounting for 64.9%)were found to meet the health requirements of divers. The total score of health promotion of the divers was negatively correlated with the BMI(r=-0.712, P＜0.01).The self-actualization score was negatively correlated with the level of triglyceride(r=-0.511, P＜0.05).The interpersonal score and score of health promoting lifestyles of the divers showed a significant negative correlation with health rating(r=-0.471, P<0.05; r=-0.578, P<0.01).Conclusion A healthy lifestyle is of vital importance for divers to remain healthy.
